It was a beautiful day to tie the knot, just over a year ago on a sunny afternoon in Dallas. Jordan was making sure everything was perfect—and everyone in their place!—for the beautifully elegant nuptials of her clients, Brittany and Evan Boff. Sunlight streamed through the curtains as Brittany joined her bridesmaids—who were pretty in their nude-colored Bella Bridesmaids frocks—for hair and makeup before donning her gorgeous Carolina Herrera gown with intricate sequin and lace detailing. Her cream-colored Lanvin heels were adorned with a simple bow and she spritzed on a mist of Marc Jacob’s Daisy fragrance as one final finishing touch. Meanwhile, the groom and his groomsmen were adjusting their bow ties as they geared up for the biggest and most important day of Evan’s life—his wedding! Now having just surpassed their two-year anniversary, we look back on the newlyweds’ special day and all the charming details.
After a short trolley ride, the bride arrived to greet her groom and enjoy a private moment and some snapshots together. The couple literally glowed in the gleaming afternoon rays before heading to the Perkins Chapel at SMU—their alma mater—for a four-thirty ceremony. From there they joined partygoers at the stately Arlington Hall at Lee Park, situated on Turtle Creek Boulevard amid a lush, bright green 15-acre setting. Though the event itself was sophisticated at every turn, the couple made sure to give a nod to their Texas home with boots and even a dusty bottle of Makers Mark—long saved by the groom’s friends for this very occasion.
Jordan transformed the venue’s Great Hall into a blushing vision with ample texture and neutral hues. Florals laden with fresh greenery cascaded all around the main doors, while the tables featured various high and low arrangements of peonies, lisanthus and ranunculus. And the monogram-lit dance floor saw plenty of action throughout the evening thanks to the couple’s newly acquired dance skills after lessons they took together pre-wedding! The music carried the crowd into the night with lively tunes performed by the band Downtown Fever. And guests adored the fun-loving desserts by Emporium Pies, bearing their unique monikers like the blueberry-filled Blue Steel, French silk chocolate and pretzel-crusted Smooth Operator and The Drunken Nut, a bourbon pecan pie with shortbread crust.
After one final dance shared in the emptied-out Hall, the couple made their grand exit to the cheers and congratulatory shrieks of their guests. Happy anniversary, Brittany and Evan!
